CKF Scholarship

Empowering refugees through education for a brighter future

The Camille Kamanzi Scholarship is a program established in 2018 by CKF. The scholarship is dedicated to providing financial assistance to young refugees aged between 18 to 25 years old who are enrolled in East African Colleges and Universities.

The aim of the scholarship fund is to promote education and learning opportunities for young refugees who face significant financial and social barriers to access higher education. By providing financial assistance, the scholarship fund aims to empower young refugees with the skills, knowledge, and resources to rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.

The scholarship program is open to refugees from across the East African region, including those who have been displaced by conflict, persecution, or other forms of violence. It is designed to provide support for the most marginalized and vulnerable refugees who are often overlooked in mainstream educational programs.

In addition to providing financial assistance, the Camille Kamanzi Scholarship Fund also offers mentorship and guidance to its recipients. The scholarship fund works closely with partner institutions to ensure that the scholarship recipients have access to a supportive learning environment and that they are connected with resources and networks that can help them succeed. By investing in the education of young refugees, the scholarship fund is helping to create a more just and equitable world for all.
